Microsoft launched their Surface devices in 2013; they have quickly become one of the best-selling hardware options for Windows 10. Available in various form factors ranging from tablets and laptops to the designer-friendly Surface Studio, it’s easy to find a Surface device in the right size for your digital signage installation. For digital signage we recommend the Surface Go in particular, as it carries a small price tag and with its integrated stand, it can be mounted in kiosks, placed on countertops or really anywhere space is at a premium.
XOGO Player can be installed on a Surface Go directly from the Windows Store, and you can even set the PC up in Windows Kiosk Mode so it will automatically launch and play your XOGO signage content whenever it boots up. As a bonus, since both our player / manager apps run natively on Windows, you can actually run them both on the same PC if you prefer (although normally you would run the manager app on a separate device).
