Where to Buy: Google Chromecast 4K | Optional Ethernet Adapter
Google’s Chromecast device underwent a major redesign in 2020. It now comes with the Google TV operating system on board, so users can install countless apps from the Google Play Store - including XOGO Player. We tested the 4K version in our labs and were delighted with its performance. Whether playing back images, 4K videos, widgets or URLs, the Chromecast was snappy and completely lag free. We tested the device on a WiFi connection, but there’s also an optional ethernet adapter available for just $20 (link above).
To use the Chromecast with XOGO simply download XOGO Player from the Apps section on the Chromecast’s home screen, then launch our app. You’ll see the familiar PIN code screen. Enter this PIN code in XOGO Manager in order to connect to the device and send it a playlist of content, which will play whenever you open XOGO Player on your Chromecast.
