XOGO Player is now available as a native application for LG commercial displays running WebOS 2.0 or later (essentially all units from 2015 or later). This allows existing and future LG customers to run XOGO digital signage right on their LG displays, without the need to purchase external player hardware or run additional wiring. After the initial setup, XOGO Player will automatically launch and play your content when you turn on the display (you can exit the app anytime using the remote control).
Once the XOGO Player app is installed, your LG display can be added to XOGO Manager like any other player device. In a matter of seconds your content will download and begin playing on the LG display.
Setup Instructions:
1) Turn on your LG display and follow the tutorial, taking care to set the correct time zone, time, date and location for the display.
2) Navigate to Settings > EZ-Settings > SI Server Settings
3) In the server menu select the following options:
-Under fully qualified domain, carefully enter this URL: https://bit.ly/xogolg137
-Application launch mode: local
-Local application upgrade: remote
-Application type: IPK
-Auto set: OFF
4) Your LG display will download and install the XOGO Player application. Please reboot your display. The app will launch automatically and display the familiar XOGO PIN code screen.
