XOGO Mini 2b is a low-cost yet powerful digital signage player built on the Raspberry Pi4 platform. It sets up quickly and is designed to play your images, videos and URL-based content on a 24/7 basis. Please follow the instructions below to set up your new digital signage player!

Step 1: Connect your XOGO Mini 2b to a TV

Your XOGO Mini 2b comes pre-assembled, with the logic board and case already in place. First connect the included HDMI cable to your Mini 2b, and to an HDMI input on your TV. Then plug in the power supply and connect it to the appropriate port on the side of the Mini.

When your Mini boots up you should see a screen that looks like this (make sure your TV is set to the proper input).

Step 2: Connect your XOGO Mini 2b to the Internet

Ethernet option: Plug an ethernet cable into your Mini’s LAN port. Reboot the device by unplugging its power cord, waiting a few seconds, then plugging it back in. Now you’ll see a PIN code like the one below.

WiFi option: Follow the directions on-screen to connect to your computer or mobile device to your Mini’s temporary WiFi signal. Once you are connected to the Mini, scan the QR code that the Mini is displaying on-screen (or type the IP address http://192.168.42.1 into your browser). Then you can push your own WiFi settings to the Mini and have it join your WiFi network. When the Mini is connected to your WiFi you will see a PIN code like the one below.

Bonus: Realtime Mode

XOGO Manager is more than just a content uploading tool - it's a real time remote control! Just select Realtime mode in the control panel and (provided that your media player and controller device are both connected to the Internet) you can make any content on your media player PC play in real time. Right from your phone or tablet!

And because you can set items to be invisible within a playlist, you can have your normal media content playing and then interrupt it with something that has been invisible. This is a perfect scenario for retail, as an example - you can interrupt a looping "attract" video in order to pull up tech specs, pricing or product information.

Items can be made invisible within playlists, until exposed in Realtime mode.
